. . . . . . . . . . WARNING . . . . . . . . . .
In the practice of permanent cosmetics you will be using needles to deposit pigments into the dermal layer of your client’s skin. There are various things that CAN, and DO happen when a technician has not received adequate training in regard to the proper methods of cosmetic pigment implantation.
The industry standard “essential” educational program for the beginning permanent makeup technician includes an in-house training program, as well as procedural demonstrations by the instructor and supervised and assisted hands-on experience for the student.
Your instructor should be someone who has had at least 8 to 10 years of working experience in the dermagraphics industry, and who is practicing advanced techniques as well as permanent cosmetic application.
The Profession you are considering can be exciting and exceptionally rewarding, both personally and financially! Your success in this industry, however, is directly related to the quality of the training you receive.
Beware of:
PERMANENT MAKEUP VIDEO TRAINING COURSES
PERMANENT MAKEUP HOME TRAINING COURSES
TWO DAY or “FREE” PERMANENT MAKEUP TRAINING
UNDER QUALIFIED “WANNA-BE” INSTRUCTORS
You simply cannot learn these highly sophisticated and specialized techniques from an under qualified technician who fancies herself an “instructor”, from a two-day training course, or from a video or home training course.
People who offer such programs are simply exploiting the naiveté of those who think they could become part of an extremely lucrative profession, without making the necessary investment of their time and money for appropriate education.
- You would not be able to get insurance without taking a comprehensive training course.
- If you were to disfigure someone’s face as a result of the lack of proper education, you may be sued for thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars.
There are no shortcuts to success! The investment you make in yourself for optimum education in your chosen profession will ultimately make a decisive difference as to whether you succeed or fail.
